U8 - FUNdamental Program
(Me and My Partner) At this stage, individual player development is paramount, it's about "Freedom and Fun”. We introduce the 3 C(s) - Communication, Cooperation and Coordination. The emphasis will be on teaching through the Four Pillar Model approach with a strong emphasis on “Individual Technical Skills and 1v1 & 2v2 Attacking/Defending Skills” using a guided discovery & empowering approach.
Players in this program are also invited to participate in festivals throughout the summer.

U8 - U12 Development Program - Building the Foundation (Designed by our Club Technical Director)
(The Start of Us) Players will begin to be trained using the “BSC Training Curriculum” as well as the Club Home Training Program. Players 11 and 12 will begin to use the Club Individual Logbook and be given an individual Development Plan. The emphasis will be on teaching through the Four Pillar Model approach with a strong emphasis on “Individual Technical Skills and 1v1 & 2v2 Attacking/Defending Skills” using a guided discovery & empowering approach.
This is a 10 month a year program that begins in November and ends in August. Players will play in a weekly league from May - August. We will be running several identification events for these ages.
The cost of the Development Program for 2019 will be posted shortly and will cover the indoor and outdoor season from the 1st of November until the end of August or early September including play and training kits.
This includes a Gym practice and 3v3 league night for indoor from November to the end of the year both at a Barrie school gym and in January we add a practice at the Bradford Dome on Saturdays that is game development as players will play games against other teams every week.
Training will be two practices per week from November to April and then one league game May-August and one training session on Fridays and several festivals.
All training is supervised by qualified Club Technical Trainers.
