Organizational Changes

Good Day Barrie SC Members,

As many of you know, our administrator Dianne Harbinson has elected to retire, and has submitted her resignation to the Barrie Soccer Club. We would congratulate Dianne and take this opportunity to thank her for all of her contributions to the Barrie Soccer Club over the past 5 years. We wish her well! We are also excited to announce the hiring of Graham Snee, as Club Manager, and Ryan Penkarski as p/t administrator. Both of these gentlemen will bring a wealth of knowledge, and experience in the game of soccer to the Barrie Soccer Club! As Club Manager, Graham will assume the role of full-time administration, sponsorships, and managing office and seasonal staff at the club. Graham comes to us after spending 4 years as the District Administrator at the Huronia District Soccer Association. He has been involved in the game of soccer since the age of 5, in various capacities such as player, coach, match official, and administrator. As part of his schooling, Graham also spent 8 months as an intern with the Pickering Soccer Club. He enjoys golfing, watching crime dramas, cooking/baking, and other sports such as hockey and basketball. Graham would like to share that he "looks forward to serving the Barrie Soccer Club membership and will strive to provide a positive experience for everyone". Ryan Penkarski will be joining the Barrie Soccer Club as part-time administrator. Ryan will be responsible for the planning, execution and support of our House League, Sponsorships, and will work closely with Graham for all other administrative support required. Ryan is a recent graduate of Sports Management at Humber College, and has been involved in the game of soccer for several years in the capacities such as a Coach, match official mentor, match day coordinator, admin intern with Richmond Hill Soccer Club, and volunteer with the Canadian Premiere League. Graham has recently started in his role as of March 2nd, and Ryan will be joining us as of March 15th. Please help us in Congratulating Dianne, and welcoming both Graham and Ryan!
