The Barrie Soccer Club continues to put plans in place for the 2021 season and has selected Sports Medicine an award-winning rehabilitation facility, as its “official clinic” for the 2021 season. In the past few years, we have partnered with Sports Medicine to provide strong sport injury care its athletes, both on and off the field.
Barrie Soccer Club Technical Director Mark Cristante says, “Our goal as an association is to ensure our athletes of access to consistent quality care in an environment that gets players better quickly, but safely. This agreement helps us achieve those goals and will assist players, coaches and parents with a safe return to sport. Sports Medicine has been widely recognized as leaders in our community, and we are certainly pleased to have them as our partner.” This agreement ensures our BSC U21 teams whose players are positioning themselves for the next step at NCAA, CIS and League1 play have access to great care.
For over 32 years, Sports Medicine, a family owned business has been the largest provider in the region for the treatment of sport injuries. The benefits of this partnership to BSC athletes includes injury prevention, on-field trainers, concussion management, providing a team physician and access to their orthopedic team. Additionally, players will have access to sport chiropractors, sport physiotherapists, FCAMPT physiotherapists, registered massage therapists and more to keep players healthy and on the field. Sports Medicine provides treatment in a multi-disciplinary facility that provides one stop integrated services.
